In the license plate reader system, vehicle data reading process and data recording are done without need to stop vehicles or to install the additional device in vehicles. This system is an automated system that detects the license plate number. At first, takes an image from the vehicle by camera and then extracts license plate number by using image processing methods. Different illumination and weather conditions, angle of the image, shadow, noise and blurring in the Image are different conditions which are available challenges in detecting the license plate. Overcoming with any of these available challenges want a new technique of image processing.
